Zimbabwe Authenticity

At Banknote World we only deal with real authentic banknotes because our customers and reputation are very important to us. We go to great lengths to ensure our customers receive only the finest quality banknotes by having the latest in anti-counterfeit technology and our in-house banknote authentication specialist. All our Zimbabwean banknotes come straight from their central bank and you can rest assured you are getting the real deal. Here is a quick list of things to look for: · Both serial numbers change color · Golden left-hand side strip changes color · Bronze lower right-hand smudge changes color · Bright yellow triangles light up · Golden hue in the center left · Green glow specks scattered throughout Authentic Zimbabwean banknotes almost come to life under UV light as shown in the image below. Both serial numbers become vibrant orange on the left and green on the bottom right. The real banknotes have green glow in the dark specs all over and the golden smudge on the bottom right corner appears to change color, almost blending in with the note itself. The center of the note glows a golden hue and the triangles in the image glow a bright yellow. On the back, there are green glow in the dark specks scattered throughout the image same as in the front. In addition, the triangle graphic also glows a bright yellow in between the cascading Victoria Falls and the cape buffalo. If you are unfortunate enough to come across a fake Zimbabwe banknote, there are some things that you should note as they look very similar. In the image below the fake note sits on the right and the security strip on the note is not as vibrant. The glittery smudge on the bottom right corner is of a different color and almost looks like nail polish. The cape buffalo and Victoria Falls on the back are blurry and the fine details are missing on the forged banknote to the right. Sure, this banknote could be passed off as real under normal light but the real difference between a real and a fake can be seen under a UV light, none of the security features we mentioned previously come to life in fake Zimbabwe banknotes. The next time you shop for Zimbabwean banknotes, make sure you are getting them from a reputable source and know what to look for. If not, that discount note you bought from a discount site might end up costing you more than you bargained for.
